APPLICATIONS OPEN SUNDAY, MARCH 1st, 2026 at 12 p.m. EST!

CAMP is going to look a little different this year! We will be hosting a shorter camp with the collective goal to have our campers revamp the camp anthem! If you play an instrument outside of the core 5 that we teach at camp, we encourage you to bring it this summer and add to our camp anthem! We will be ending our camp experience with a camper-led open mic, instead of our usual final performance.

Camp is in-person and will be held Thursday, June 25th, 2026 through Saturday, June 27th, 2026 at Noble Academy Columbus - 1329 Bethel Rd, Columbus, Ohio, 43220. 

DAILY SCHEDULE

• Thursday, June 25th - Friday, June 26th: Camper check-in 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. 

• Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily. 

• Saturday, June 27th: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with final OPEN MIC starting at 2 p.m.

Please note that every camp day and the final performance are mandatory for all campers. Campers must be able to attend the full hours of each camp day including the final performance day. Campers who cannot attend for multiple days or can only attend for part of the day may not be considered. 

Camper's age as of June 25th, 2026:

• TEMPO accepts campers ages 12-18. 

• If your camper is currently 11 but will turn 12 before June 25th, 2026, your camper may apply. 

• If your camper is currently 18 but will turn 19 before June 25h, 2026, they are not eligible.) 

TEMPO TUITION

$25-$150 sliding scale*

*Sliding scale means you choose what to pay for tuition, between $25-$150, based on what works best for your family. No communication is required to establish your tuition amount. Full financial support is available, and absolutely no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

We are able to accept 20 campers this year. To provide maximum support and opportunities for prospective campers, the first 15 applicants will be accepted on a first-come/first-serve basis; three [3] spots will be reserved for trans girls/femmes scholarships; and five [5] spots will be filled via a lottery with campers of color being selected first. If we receive over 20 applications by the application deadline on May 10th, 2026, these campers will be notified they are on the waitlist and we will inform them if a spot opens up.
