After Dark Location & Dates
TEMPO: After Dark is in-person and will be held over two weekends in January.
The first weekend of camp is mandatory and will be held on Friday, January 10th — Sunday, January 12th at MBA Research & Curriculum Center (1375 King Ave, Columbus, OH 43212). See schedule below.
The second weekend of camp is optional and will be held on Saturday, January 25th at Northern Lights Library (4093 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, OH 43224) in Meeting Rooms 1, 2 and 3. See schedule below.
Campers will be responsible for scheduling practice on their own time before the final performance in March.
The last day of camp is on Sunday, March 2nd at Columbus Performing Arts Center (549 Franklin Ave, Columbus, OH 43215). The camp day will conclude with the final performance (doors at 3:30 p.m., music at 4 p.m.). The final performance is a public fundraiser for camp—invite friends!
Schedule
Friday, January 10th: 6 p.m.—10 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early to get settled in.
Saturday, January 11th: 10 a.m.—5 p.m.
Sunday, January 12th: 10 a.m.—6 p.m.
Saturday, January 25th: 10 a.m.—5:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 2nd: 9:30 a.m.—7 p.m. (11:30 a.m.—1:30 p.m. dress rehearsal, 3:30 p.m. doors, 4 p.m. final performance)
Campers and volunteers will be given a detailed schedule prior to camp. The camp schedule is subject to change. You will be informed of any changes in schedule ahead of time.
After Dark Affinity Space
After Dark is hosting an affinity space for Black people and people of color in our camp community to gather, reflect, and connect. This space will be held on February 22nd from 12—2 p.m. at Northern Lights Library in Meeting Room 2.
